Oy vey, have we got a snack for you. It all started when best friends Ashley Albert and Kevin Rodriguez set out to create a new take on the culturally beloved (but traditionally flavorless) box of matzo. These clusters of matzo are mixed with Belgian dark chocolate, toasted rice and toffee for a sweet, crunchy, slightly savory nosh we literally cannot stop eating. FYI: Ungapatchka is a Yiddish word used to describe something ridiculously over-the-top… just like these, ahem, miraculous treats you don't have to cross a desert for.
Note: These are kosher, but not certified Kosher for Passover.
TIP OF THE TONGUE
Eat as a late-night snack, as you would caramel corn. Smash and sprinkle atop your vanilla ice cream for a a completely unexpected and next-level topping!
